Community Organisations Making the Most of IT

The Office for the Community Sector has recently released the information communication technology (ICT) improvement guide – Community Organisations Making the Most of IT.

Using case studies from the community sector, this guide explains how to assess the ICT competency of your organisation and then improve the way technology supports your core business. This guide draws upon six real life examples to demonstrate how some simple steps can help you move towards where you want to be.

The following presentation was given at the Health and Community Services Innovations Conference in Brisbane in April 2011. Alternative methods to formal classroom training such as online support and on the job experience are favoured by research according to Skillsgate.
