Victoria's State Budget 2011-12 Analysis
On 3 May the Victorian State Government delivered its 2011-12 Budget. It includes funding for several new initiatives related to preventing and ending homelessness, but unfortunately no new investments in social housing. This brief provides an analysis of the 2011-12 state budget and its implications for housing and homelessness.

On 23 September 2010, the Victorian Government released A Better Place:
Victorian Homelessness 2020 Strategy.

This briefing provides an outline of the Strategy and the Council to Homeless
Persons’ (CHP) initial response. It will be followed by consultation with the
homelessness sector across Victoria to further develop CHP’s position as we
enter the first phase of the Strategy’s implementation.
