Does Camping Count - Report on Children and Homelessness
The Does Camping Count report highlights children’s experience of homelessness and significant recommendations to reduce the impact of homelessness on children.
The report highlights the social, health and educational impacts of homelessness on children.
The Salvation Army Crossroads Network commissioned this research in partnership with Council to Homeless Persons, Family Access Network, Melbourne Citymission and the University of Melbourne.

August 09: Youth Homelessness practice library online

The Practice Library Website is a joint CHP - Office of Housing project providing a contact point for youth homelessness workers in Victoria.
The test site will run for three months August-October 2009.
Incorporating input from the youth homelessness sector, the website will provide:
1) information and resources on youth homelessness issues
2) youth homelessness workers (predominantly in SAAP) with networking and practice support opportunities.
On completion of the test phase, your feedback will be incorporated into a plan for an ongoing Practice Library Website.
